9% of ICU beds, 8.3% of ventilators vacant in Mum

Half of the Covid-19 ICU beds in Maharashtra are still available, according to chief minister Uddhav Thackeray’s assertions on Friday, but this is not the case in the state’s capital, Mumbai, where only 9% of the 1,800 ICU beds are now vacant.
