Maha: Fixed deposits of Rs 5L for Covid orphans

The state government has decided to deposit Rs 5 lakh as a fixed deposit in the account of every child who lost both parents to Covid-19. It will give Rs 1,100 to every child who lost one parent to Covid-19. The state is also contemplating free education for these children.
