Maharashtra: Asha workers call off strike

A week after nearly 70,000 Asha workers in the state went on strike demanding a pay hike, the strike was taken back on Wednesday after health minister Rajesh Tope promised a hike of Rs 1,000 in their salary and Rs 500 will be given as covid allowance.
