Palghar: Premature baby girl tests +ve 12 hrs after birth

A premature baby born in Palghar on Monday tested positive for Covid 12 hours after birth while the mother tested negative. This could be the first case of a newborn testing positive for the virus in the extended Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR) outside the metropolis.
