Boil water before drinking, BMC tells citizens

The BMC has asked Mumbaikars to boil water before drinking as torrential rain led to flooding in the filtration and pumping plants at Bhandup water complex and had to be shut down on Sunday morning. Several parts of the city did not receive water even as the BMC worked on a war footing to restore supply.
