Gulshan Kumar murder: HC upholds life term for killer

Almost 24 years after three men gunned down T-Series founder Gulshan Kumar (inset) in the city, the Bombay high court on Thursday upheld the 2002 conviction of one assailant, Abdul Rauf Dawood Merchant, declared guilty a second gunman, Rauf’s brother Abdul Rashid, and upheld the acquittal of Ramesh Taurani, Kumar’s business rival.
