Builder liable for shoddy work: Mumbai court

Observing that just because a society’s affairs are handled by committee members, a builder cannot absolve himself in case of faulty construction, a sessions court has ruled in favour of a Bhandup CHS and upheld a lower court ruling on a complaint against the builder for substandard construction.
