Drive to fill 6.2k vacancies draws 8.6L applications

A whopping 8.6 lakh candidates are vying for 6,205 administrative and paramedical positions in one of the biggest recruitment drives being held by the state’s public health department over the weekend. This is the first such attempt in over two decades to fill up all positions in this department.
