Deshmukh’s PS had never demanded money: Waze

Dismissed assistant police inspector Sachin Waze on Wednesday told the Justice K U Chandiwal commission probing ex-Mumbai police commissioner Param Bir Singh’s letter to chief minister Uddhav Thackeray that former home minister Anil Deshmukh’s private secretary Sanjeev Palande had never made any demand for money from him. “Palande had never made any demand for (sic) communication of any money for any reason,” Waze told Shekhar Jagtap, Palande’s counsel, during his cross-examination.
