Elders' share in Mum Covid toll up, nears pre-vax days

Six months after being immunised with both doses, Kandivli resident Sharadchandra Shenoy (63) succumbed to Covid-19 pneumonia in October. The 63-year-old, who had a history of hypertension and diabetes, battled the viral infection for 13 days in hospital. The family is still searching for answers, said his brother Dr Satishchandra Shenoy, a family physician.
