First year medical students made to take Charak Shapath in Tamil Nadu

First-year MBBS students at Government Madurai Medical College were made to take the modified 'Maharshi Charak Shapath' instead of the conventional Hippocratic oath during the induction ceremony, after receiving their white coats on Saturday.
