Mumbai: 5 ‘I-T men’ held for duping many of lakhs

A gang of five who posed as income-tax officials and duped people by promising a 5% commission if they arranged Rs 10 lakh, with Rs 2,000 notes, in exchange for Rs 100 notes were arrested recently. They were caught near Guru Nanak Hospital in Bandra (E) on September 11to collect Rs 10 lakh from a cop who was a decoy.
