Favipiravir cuts treatment time: Mumbai trial

While World Health Organisation (WHO) on Thursday recommended against using antiviral remdesivir for severely ill Covid-19 patients, Mumbai doctors published the first scientific study showing another antiviral, favipiravir, reduced "cure time" in mild cases.
